Thinking with St. John Paul II // JP2 Lectures 2020 / 2021
Transcriptions of the JP2 Lectures delivered in the academic year 2020/2021.
We present to you a collection of ten lectures from the "JP2 Lectures" series, delivered during the first year of the St. John Paul II Institute of Culture in Rome. For this series, which will continue in the coming years, we invite distinguished contemporary intellectuals who, in dialogue with the thought of St. John Paul II, reflect both on what is intriguing and alive in his work, as well as on what is particularly important and challenging.
The relevance of John Paul II’s thought is not confined to the period of his pontificate; it has much to offer for contemporary reflection on faith, philosophy, culture, science, politics, and a broad range of social issues. It is also worthwhile, together with him, to consider the most pressing challenges of our time.
